This is a comprehensive MAF upgrade kit for a Stock, normally aspirated, OBDII 80 Series
The Kit includes:
1-Cast MAF housing
6-4 hole injectors
1-Adapter Harness
Air Straightener
6-color coordinated Injector connector housings
1-Hitachi MAF sensor
2-tubes of silicone grease
1-air straightener install disk
Everything in this kit is brand new!
There is no rewiring needed but if replacing one of my early version MAFs, the factory MAF harness will have to be wired back to the stock configuration.
Besides using more up to date components the inclusion of 6 injectors brings some new ability to the system. The 4 hole injectors deliver a better spray pattern and flow more fuel. This additional flow expands the MAFs range so those who have done engine work that increased the engines air intake ability this kit will better manage the system in the upper RPM range.
It's recommended to change all the Injector plug housing especially if they haven't been done yet.
